Have you ever dreamed of having your original quilt design featured in a major magazine? If you are like most amateur quilt designers, you have at least dreamed, but then reality sets in and you begin to doubt your abilities, you think how can I compete against all the published artist and professional teachers. Well, now is your chance, McCall’s Quilting Quilt Design Star™ 2012 has an Amateur Category. You are considered an amateur if you have NEVER earned any money off your quilting. You haven’t sold any patterns or been paid to teach a class based on your original designs. If this is you, for this contest you are an amateur, and you can enter the McCall’s Quilting magazine design star 2012. There are several phases in this competition, but if you Win you will be featured in a future edition of McCall’s Quilting magazine. If this idea interest you, you have until April 29, 2012 to get your entry in. Click HERE to find the official rules. Let go of your fears and get your entry in now.
